Introduction	Lormetazepam is a 1,4-benzodiazepinone compound having a methyl substituent at the 1-position, a hydroxy substituent at the 3-position, a 2-chlorophenyl group at the 5-position and a chloro substituent at the 7-position. It has a role as a sedative. It is a 1,4-benzodiazepinone and an organochlorine compound.
Application1	Lormetazepam is a benzodiazepine which reduces central nervous system (CNS) activity2,1. It produces anxiolytic, muscle relaxant, sedative and hypnotic effects. Because it is a short-acting benzodiapine, it does not produce significant sedation after waking.
Application2	Lormetazepam, as a benzodiazepine, binds to the regulatory site between the α and γ subunits of γ-aminobutryic acid (GABA) A receptors with γ2 and α1, α2, α3, or α5 subunits1. This facilitates the opening of the chloride channel allowing chloride ions to flow into the neuron resulting in hyperpolarization. Hyperpolarized neurons require greater simulation to reach their action potential threshold. 洛美他西使用注意事項(xiàng)：
1.實(shí)驗(yàn)前需戴好防護(hù)眼鏡，穿戴防護(hù)服和口罩，佩戴手套，避免與皮膚接觸。
2.實(shí)驗(yàn)過程中如遇到有毒或者刺激性物質(zhì)及有害物質(zhì)產(chǎn)生，必要時(shí)實(shí)驗(yàn)操作需要手套箱內(nèi)完成以免對(duì)實(shí)驗(yàn)人員造成傷害。

4.稱量藥品時(shí)選用稱量紙，并無風(fēng)處取藥和稱量以免揚(yáng)撒，試劑的容器使用前務(wù)必確保干凈，并消毒。
5.取藥品時(shí)盡量采用多個(gè)藥勺分別使用，使用后清洗干凈。
6.實(shí)驗(yàn)后產(chǎn)生的廢棄物需分類存儲(chǔ)，并交于專業(yè)生物廢氣物處理公司處理，以免造成環(huán)境污染。
